On the sands of Chandrabhaga — a compassionate god who stands upon a brick for his devotees.
At the spiritual heart of Maharashtra lies Lord Vitthal at Pandharpur along the crescent Chandrabhaga. On these sacred sands, all artificial divides of caste, status, and wealth dissolve completely before a compassionate god who waits upon a brick with hands on hips, ready to embrace every walking pilgrim.
On the sacred sands of Chandrabhaga, all divides dissolve — Mother Vitthal patiently waits for each devotee.
